Abstract
  
  
We define pure state entanglement measures in terms of  generalized
quantum mechanical observables. Based on that one can find  lower
bounds for the extension of these measures  for  mixed  states  that  
are measurable in terms of the same observables as their pure state  
analogues.  We  discuss  experimental  implementations  of  these  
observable entanglement measures using twin-photons.
